An anonymous commenter shared the following quote:

“I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success . . . Such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything.” – Nikola Tesla

God made us in His image, so…  are His feelings anything like ours?  Did He feel thrilled, joyful, etc, when He created us?  Is part of why He created us that He is essentially a Great Inventor who loves the act of creation?  There’s no way to know, but I hope He DID feel these things, and that He still feels them when He looks at us…  especially when He sees us “unfolding to success” in the destiny He has arranged for us to achieve.

He gives us so much;  it’s wonderful to think of what He might be getting in return, along with our love and faith.
